REGISTRATION DEADLINE - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 AT NOON

This is your registration for the Color Run: Run for Cancer
Color Run: Run for Cancer will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Cameron High School
Race packets will be handed out starting at 8am in front of the Cameron High School. (Packets include t-shirt and a coupon from Golden Bear Fuel)
The run will begin at 9 am
All runners will run the same route which will be approximately 1.5 miles
Same day registration will NOT receive a T-shirt or be guaranteed a race packet
There will be a Raffle drawing for a chance to win a certificate for a weekend stay at Fire Away Roadhouse and Rest Camp
By registering for the Color Run: Run for Cancer, I assume all responsibility and agree to waive responsibility of Cameron School District for any injuries or illness suffered at this race. I verify I am physically fit and have trained to perform in this race.

40-year-old, Shaun Schluneger, father of 5, is battling Stage 3 invasive rectal cancer. Because of the aggressiveness of his cancer, Shaun had to stop working. His treatment journey includes chemo for 13 weeks, chemo/radiation for 5 weeks then surgery. He won't be able to return to work until January of 2026, if all goes as planned. This leaves his wife as their only source of income. Marissa continues to work to keep their health insurance and is also making sure she gets Shaun to all his appointments. Cancer not only takes its toll physically, mentally and emotionally, but also financially. The bills are still piling up and Shaun and Marissa's only worry should be to get Shaun better. **** UPDATE**** Shaun said, “I have gone back to work part time and that have increased radiation & chemo from 5 weeks to 6 weeks (30 sessions)”.
